So you're thinking of dropping 600 beans on the iPhone huh? Or perhaps you have your eye on that new 1080p HD Plasma and a Sony Playstation 3 (or maybe 4?) to go along with it? Gadgets deconstructed is a resource devoted to all the latest and greatest electronic tech gadgets and tech toys. Everything from the kitchen, to the golf course, remote control for home automation, car audio, basically all the things that would be considered "toys for boys" - not to discriminate against gals out there who love tech toys too!
With every blink of an eye, there's some latest technological marvel that pops up on the market which make geeks from all over camp in front of their local BestBuy or FutureShop to pick one up to add to their collection of gadgets and gizmos. Of course, it wouldn't be fair to call all the young executives and hip and happening people out there "geeks" just because they like the latest and greatest electronic toy, but the need to buy revision 1 of every device that comes out at a brutally inflated price might be a bit much - case in point, the highly controversial Apple iPhone which doesn't look like will be available in Canada anytime soon and will likely be replaced by a smaller and cheaper version in the near future which addresses some of the existing issues people are experiencing already (what's with a $600 phone that has an expected battery life of only a couple hundred charges?) Anyway, we hope that will change in revision 2, but again, not like it will matter since we're in Canada and our telephone carriers can not compete with the cheap data packages that is offered by AT&T to go along with the iPhone.
So aside from over-priced cellular phones, what about digital camcorders? Computer accessories? Mini video recorders for spying on your neighbor? There's so many cool things out there that could be considered a "gadget" and we're not talking just portable handheld electronic devices. Kitchen aids, things for your car, your bathroom, for golf - you name it, we'll find it here at gadgets deconstructed.
Gadgets Deconstructed is maintained by Tavis, a self proclaimed IT Geek from Vancouver who loves tech gadgets and staying on the bleeding edge of all things cool and new in the realm of electronics.
